Together with Delphine, our president, we had the pleasure of participating in the thematic days on “Doping, addiction, and mass spectrometry.” We can attest to the richness and diversity of the presentations, which covered a wide range of topics: peptidomics applied to foodborne infections, LC-HRMS quantification of IGF-I for anti-doping, urinary screening for psychoactive substances, and feedback from the XXL laboratory at the 2024 Olympic Games.
These high-level scientific exchanges, led by speakers from ANSES, CRCM, Nantes University Hospital, the Laboratoire AndiDopage Français and the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques, took place in a fluid and very friendly atmosphere.
Masterfully organized by the SFSM in the amphitheater of the IPGG (ESPCI), the day brought together around forty participants on site, providing a conducive setting for discussions, questions, and the emergence of future collaborations between the mass spectrometry and proteomics communities.
